Gardner Britt III is a seasoned automotive professional with a diverse background in the industry. Born and raised in Fairfax, VA, Gardner graduated from Fairfax High School in 1996, where he was a dedicated member of the Varsity soccer and golf teams. He was also actively involved in Young Life, a program that shaped his leadership and community engagement during his high school years.
After graduating from the University of Alabama’s School of Communications, Gardner began his career at Pohanka Lexus in Chantilly, VA. In 2002, he joined his family’s dealership, playing a crucial role in opening a brand-new Ford dealership in Chantilly. Under his leadership, the dealership consistently earned recognition as a Top 100 Dealer and one of the Top 25 Commercial Dealerships in the country.
In 2010, Gardner opened Ted Britt Lincoln, where he built a highly successful team and made it the number one Lincoln dealership in the region. His commercial background also led to the opening of two truck shop facilities, both of which achieved significant success.
Gardner completed the NADA Dealer Executive Education program in 2009, a prestigious partnership with Babson College, to further refine his leadership and business skills. With his deep industry knowledge and commitment to excellence, Gardner remains a driving force in the automotive world.
In his free time, Gardner enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family on the water. He also has a passion for anything that flies, making his leisure activities as dynamic as his professional pursuits.
